Are you ready to explore three more of the best places in Chicago to visit? I usually include four places per short article when I’m taking a virtual look at a city. I’m doing three for Chicago because I want to say a few extras about each major place of interest. Here are the next three attractions you might want to visit in Chicago IL.
Let’s start with the 360 Chicago Observation Deck. Imagine seeing the entire city from up in the air. It’s one thing you might want to do just to say you’ve seen it all. You’re going to be making your way around Chicago as much as possible. If you would like to check everything out from the 94th floor of the John Hancock Center, then you will want to make your way to 875 North Michigan Avenue. People say that southside view at sunset is absolutely stunning. There is also a bar on the 96th floor.
Some people say in the reviews that the view isn’t exactly 360 degrees. Just a heads up, but you still get a wonderful view of the city. This next place of interest is one that will show you a lot of what the city has to offer. It’s the Chicago Riverwalk, and you are going to be in the downtown area on the Chicago River’s south bank. You’re going to find all kinds of great things to do in that area, including great places to eat. Whether you take a water taxi or just go for a stroll, you’re also going to run into other Chicago landmarks along the way.
The Oriental Institute Museum is one of the more unique places to visit in Chicago. There you will find artifacts from ancient times and many different cultures. There are even artifacts from Mesopotamia. The Oriental Institute Museum is located at 155 East 58th Street, and it is said to house some of the earliest writing examples known, too. It’s not everyday that you get to see artifacts from many different ancient civilizations. This museum would certainly be an interesting educational experience.
Take your tour of The Windy City, and maybe one or more of these three attractions mentioned will make your list. We’re not done taking a look at Chicago just yet though, not even close. There are so many more places that you might want to visit. Think about what you would like to do in Chicago IL, and make your selections.
